English 15K yellow gold antique garnet brooch. The brooch is handcrafted and set with an Almandine Garnet. The color is spectacular almost a purple red with great fire. The stone is bezel set and original to the piece. There are a couple small nicks on the table of the stone commiserate with wear. There is also a bail for the option of wearing as a pendant. The piece measures 1 1/2" wide by 1 3/8" with a projection of 1/2". and weighs 5.1dwts = 7.9grams 15K gold. The piece is superbly crafted with no loss or damage.
