History:

Cydney's dates back over 25 years. Cydney the co-owner and operator of Cydney's literally grew up in the business. Her mother, Jo operated an antique and jewelry establishment importing antiques from Europe and France for over 46 years in Bloomington, Illinois. As a second generation retailer, Cydney opened her own store in 1982, joining forces with her partner and mother, Jo. The two worked side by side until Jo retired from the business in 2002. Both stores have seen great success and Cydney's European Imports continues to do so today! Cydney continues to travel and acquire unique pieces from Europe and other areas around the world. Cydney's stocks both one of a kind items and various product lines from across Europe. Cydney takes great pride in her store and with that in mind, provides wonderful customer service. Cydney's is proud to be Lyons, Dunn and Bradstreet rated.


Cydney's online store was created to readily make an array of merchandise available to clients whom make the shop a annual destination when visiting central Illinois. For the last 5 years Cydney's has gained great strides providing products through EBay under the user name of Cydwood and has now decided to make an addition of service with the online store. The new site offers the same quality items, but without surcharges, etc. Also the online store enables better service, direct connection with the physical store, greater applied social responsibility, and more merchandise.
