Illusion Set Sapphire Diamond Ring 18K

Illusion set genuine sapphire and diamond 18K yellow gold ring. This is a handsome piece that could be worn by either gender. The ring came in from a Chicago estate. The sapphire ring is handcrafted in 18K gold. It is set with 24 princess cut sapphires for a total of 3.25 carats. The sapphires are a vivid blue in color. The ring also boasts a few diamonds 24 to be exact 2-4 points for a total of .45 carats of diamonds. The ring measures just shy of 1" wide and 1/2" in length with a projection of 1/4". The ring is used and has one small chip on one of the sapphires ( 3rd row 5 from the left) appears to look like a brown spot but is actually the gold wire showing. The ring is currently a size 9 1/2 and would be difficult to size so it must be a fitter.The ring weighs 10.6 grams=2.9dwts 18K gold.
