Staffordshire Spaniel Comfort Dog Glass Eyes

Antique Staffordshire comfort spaniel. The cute little dog is an unusual size measuring 9" tall by 7 3/4" wide and 3 1/2" deep. The dog has the original glass eyes. There are two firing holes on the neck and the base. There is the usual age craze and slight wear to the gold gilt. There is one small spot of glaze loss at the tail which may have occurred during the firing process. The dog is in good condition with no damage to report. We date the dog to circa 1870-80.
